The Trattoria Misericordia is located on the canal side of the Rio della Misericordia, one of the most charming areas of Venice. Although it’s easy to reach from the rail station and Piazzale Roma, and is only a 15-minute walk from the Rialto Bridge, the area is off the usual tourist routes and is popular with Venetians who arrive here by boat or on foot.

The Canal Side
Enjoying lunch or dinner at a table in front of the Trattoria is a relaxing experience! On one side, you have boats (including the occasional gondola) slowly passing by, and on the other, there are people strolling along the canal side. The Fondamenta della Misericordia faces south and gets plenty of sunshine during the day; in the evening, there is a unique and slightly mysterious atmosphere.

The cosy interior of the Trattoria Misericordia, with its ancient wooden beams, is an ideal space for a dinner for two or for a get-together with friends and family.
The Garden
The Trattoria Misericordia has its own ‘secret garden’! In Venice, eating in the open air surrounded by greenery is a something special. Our garden is also the perfect location for graduation parties, birthdays, and other special occasions.
